Mid-week

Midweek groups give us the opportunity to support and encourage one another as we serve and follow Jesus, to enjoy one other’s company, and to be stretched and grow as we study God’s word, and to lift our prayers to God together as a community.

Mid-Week Meeting

Every Thursday – except the first Thursday of each month – we meet together to read the Bible and pray. Bible studies vary from stretching, focused series on particular Bible books or theological themes, to one-off devotions maximising space for prayerful response. We also use our Mid-Week meeting to introduce visitors from other churches and to showcase mission projects in other countries.

Currently our Mid-Week meeting takes place online, but we’re looking forward to returning to in person gatherings in homes around the city as soon as the Covid restrictions allow.

Re:Con

On the first Thursday of every month the Oxford EPC Mid-Week meeting transforms into the Reformed Creeds and Confessions Study Group (Re:Con). As the pandemic recedes we hope to return to our longstanding venue at Caffè Nero in the centre of town (14 High St)
